is inturrupted you can easily find the same site again.
So please book mark The Saadhu Testament now, if you
have not already done so.
To create a bookmark with Netscape browsers right click and select Add bookmark, on Microsoft explorer right click and select Add to favourites.
Alternatively hold down the Ctlr key and press D.
Cut down your Phone Bills
If you read a novel or an electronic book, while you are online you are likely to
incur charges for Telephone and/or internet usage.
Break the connection to your Internet Service Provider after a chapter or
page has been completely downloaded. Once you have read that page, make the
connection again to download the next chapter.
This way your incoming calls will get through while you read at your
own pace.
Saving for a rainy day
If you decide to save a copy of an e-text on your hard disk for future
reference, please remeber that they are protected by copyright,
so you cannot pass on what you save to someone else.
To save a page select File from your brower's main
menu. Then click on Save As
How to find free electronic books
You can start right here. This is the website
of the first asian electronic novel, The Saadhu Testament.
Once you have read it please move onto the Links Section for
other resources. Once you have done that, Tell your friends about this website, to win
free signed copy of the author's first novel.
This article was written back in 1998, at a time when you thought
yourself lucky if you could browse at 28.8kbps and ADSL was unheard of. Electronic
books were a rarity then and no one from asia had published an e-novel.
Things have changed but some of the content is still very relevent.
